i very well could have missed my bus...

Had I left Lewis Towers probably half an hour later, I would have had to walk, or, rather, push my way back to Union Station. After helping Sara stuff envelopes for a few hours (for our mailing for our study), I exited the building to be met with quite a large throng of people, more so than usual, even for late on a Saturday afternoon in one of the most tourist-popular spots in the city. I then realized that tonight they were going to light up all the trees on Michigan Ave, complete with a parade and fireworks. People were clustered all down the street, which is why I'm sure had I gotten there any later than I did, I would have missed the bus because they were going to stop running them (for obvious reason) once everything started. So. Even though it took a pretty long time to get back to Union, I am excited to see all the lights and stuff next week. Makes me glad I have class at night. Christmas lights aren't too spectacular during the day. :-P

Anyway. Gonna go to bed early, with the hope that I might wake up early to get a good start on my homework, and start reading articles for my papers. It has been one crazy, fast semester.

I start my new job a week from Monday. Whoo! Very excited about that.

A random goal for...maybe Thanksgiving break, maybe winter break...FINISH TWEAKING MY BOOK AND DECIDE ON A TITLE AND FIND SOMEWHERE TO SEND IT.

*ahem*

I do have three title ideas, however, which is good for me because usually I can't think of good titles to save my life.

Went to Pizzeria Due with David and Kristen last night. Yum yum yum. Good thing it's only about a block way from Uno's, where the wait was over an hour. (And we should have seen that coming, considering it was a Friday night. Duh.) Also went to Moonstruck. Had a truffle mocha instead of my usual shake. Thought I'd shake things up a but. :-P

Okay. Off to bed. Need to be productive tomorrow. Those education articles aren't gonna read themselves.

Toodles!
