Cimbalom

The cimbalom is one very cool instrument. I first heard one at a concert at Millennium Park featuring the Hungarian violinist Roby Lakatos and his ensemble, and thought the sound was really unique. I found this clip of a Romanian street musician playing the cimbalom, and there are even some good shots of the inside of the instrument.



Then, just for fun, here's one I found of Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" performed by a cimbalom, bass, and violin:

I'm not the hugest Lady Gaga fan, but still thought it was pretty cool.
