Not your usual Italian ice

Italian ice has always been a favorite in my family, usually lemon or another citrus-flavored variety. After lunch today we tried the ice at Tom and Wendee's Italian Ice (also in Lincoln Park) and it was one of the best things I've ever tasted. In addition to the usual fruit flavors like lemon and lime, they also have chocolate, chocolate toffee crunch, and cappuccino crunch (which is what I had). Oh my God. So good. And because it's ice, which is water, it's got to be healthier than ice cream, right? haha It's nice and light, but very flavorful, and I will say, one of the best places in the city for dessert. : )
