Last night I watched The Duchess, which was pretty good. I previously didn't know much about the story behind it, so will have to seek out some books now that I've seen the film. It was rather emotional, and beautifully made. Everything from the sets to the costumes to the music was very pretty. I love period pieces in general and I have to say that this is one of the better ones. Have a look at the trailer:
