Groovy

I found another awesome little Thai place to share with you! Check out Sura on Broadway. I had some very delicious pad Thai, forsaking my usual fried rice. : ) Rice is served in pyramid form, which I thought was pretty cool. Front windows were open, perfect for a summer night, and made exiting rather quick. haha (We went in through the front door, of course, as entering through the front window might not have been appreciated very much, or at least would have looked a little strange, but we figured that leaving that way would be more amusing than anything. The joys of summer dining in Chicago...) The decor was fun too, very 60s-ish--red, orange and white, rounded furniture, circular designs, and not elaborate. Overall it was really good. Just one of many, many places to sample on that stretch of Broadway in Lakeview.
