I watched The Chorus, last night, a wonderfully done French film with some really beautiful music. Not only did I enjoy the musical element of the movie, but it was also a great story about teaching and inspiring children. I found myself thinking about my own job and the kids that I work with everyday and hope that I can have some sort of positive impact on their lives, whether it's encouraging them to read more or to start playing an instrument. Check out the trailer below. This film is charming, real, and funny. Music really does have power.
