Scene from a 40s movie

I found my new favorite Chicago bar. Katerina's on Irving Park Road is fabulous! I was there on Friday night to hear a friend's band play and I fell in love with the place. (And as I was waiting for another friend at the bar with my cosmo, I felt like I was in the beginning of an old-fashioned movie!) They had 40s jazz over the speakers in-between bands, and the decor was classy and vintage. Good drinks too, and next time I'll have to try some of their food as well. They usually have jazz or blues bands playing, so it really is my kind of place! : )

PS: The band my friend plays with is Singing in the Abbey, and they are AWESOME.
