Tea Time

Oh, it's been awhile...such is life in grad school. Anyway, I thought I'd write about the Holiday High Tea service at The Drake Hotel, which my mom and I have been going to around the holidays for the past few years. It's really quite nice. They always have a harpist playing Christmas music, and it makes for a lovely, relaxed afternoon. The tea selection is really good, and I've always liked the tea I've gotten. We usually start with a mimosa or a bellini, too, which are quite yummy as well. : ) Along with the tea, you get some scones, banana bread, a few little finger sandwiches, and some cute little pastries, all of which are very delicious and perfect for lunch. I took a couple quick pictures of the food tray and a couple of the pastries. Yum.
