Such is how my mom described the cookies I made this afternoon. Flying saucers. They're flat and round. Not sure how that happened. Cookies are so easy to make. Hell, I make cakes all the time. Cakes are easy. Well, except for the red velvet cake I made last year or something that didn't rise and then I did something to the icing, with the result being that it was un-usable so I ended up using cream cheese frosting from a jar. (and I hate using frosting from a jar.) Anyway. So instead of chocolate chip cookies, we'll be eating chocolate chip flying saucers for the next few days.
What else for the week...working, writing, working out, catching snippets of the World Cup, and most of the Sox games. hehe Did some shopping for presents yesterday, all of which I hope will be liked by their respective recipients. :-)
Went to Caribou with Annie the other day. It was my first trip back there since I've been home from school, which is almost a month. Poor Caribou. I've been neglecting it. Gotta love those Coffee Coolers. ;-)
