Walking to Navy Pier is, well, interesting. lol Dave and I walked there on Sunday, and in the process ended up walking in increasingly larger concentric circles before finally managing to find the correct route that leads to the pier. And yes, as the title indicates, we did find ourselves back at this park a couple times. It was an adventure. Once we got there, we just wandered around for a while, got some Italian ice (and I discovered that there is now a Massa on Navy Pier!! Whoo!!), played some mini-golf, and finally got smart at the end of the day and took a cab back to the Loop instead of walking. lol The heat was ridiculous. But it makes the story of walking all the way there much more interesting, I think.
Got almost everything set for grad school...less than a month! Eek! Kinda freaky...but exciting as well.
Still reading "Specimen Days", but I'm almost done. This is such an interesting book. I shall write more about it once I finish it. Then I have a National Geographic to read, and I borrowed "The Queen's Fool" by Philippa Gregory from Annie, which promises to be quite interesting.
Practiced today, after not having done so for at least a week.
Hmm. Guess that's it for now. Time to read.
