Whoo! It is offially winter break!!
Nutcracker on Saturday was awesome, of course. Aaron did a fantastic job. I loved it. (surprise, surprise...lol) The show was followed by dinner at the Artist's Cafe, chillin at Caribou, and some random wandering around the city. Good, good times.
Sunday I went to the Bears game with my family for my brother's birthday. It was a mess. lol At least they still managed to win...in overtime...shame on the Bears for scaring us like that. :-P But tons of fun, of course. And it was at least 40 degrees warmer than it was last year when we went to a game on the same weekend. I now have the Bears' song memorized. And, dork that I am, I actually found the "Shake the Lake" song to be rather amusing.
Dinner was at the Rosebud. Yum.
I was planning on going to my high school's Winter Music Festival tonight, but totally forgot until my dad, brother and I were picking up dinner just as the concert was starting. Boo. Now I have to wait until next year. :-(
My poor violin is being seriously neglected. :-( Must practice something before I go back to school.
Need to write before I go back to school too.
And work on my photo projects.
But first, I must frost a cake.
Ta-ta.
