less-discombobulated

Well. I am feeling slightly less discombobulated since my last post, which was kind of a while ago. I did manage to start cleaning up my room, and consequently my desk and floor are less full of crap than they were previously. And I think I can acutally think better. Imagine that.

Have also figured out part of my summer. No school. Three reasons: not much is offered, I don't even want to take most of the classes offered anyway, and finally, the one I would have liked to take starts while the school I work at is still in session. So that's not going to work. I was planning to finish in December anyway, so now I just have to take three classes instead of two. No big deal.

I finally finished "Death in the Haymarket", which I had been reading for months. I found it to be a very interesting and detailed account of the events leading up to the riot, and what happened shortly thereafter. I have since started "Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell" by Susanna Clarke, which is proving to be quite interesting, though I'm only on page 62. I look forward to the rest.

I had my first Caribou Coffee Cooler of the season last weekend, when it was 60+ degrees. It actually felt like summer and was quite nice. Then this week it's cold again. So it was a little bit of a teaser. But it made me think of how much I love summer (which I do, despite how much I also love winter), especially chilling with my friends at Caribou and drinking cold coffee drinks. Then there's also the nice warm, rainy summer days. I find I talk about weather a lot. I'm really not that much of a nerd. Right. :-P

I shall be attending the St. Patrick's Day parade tomorrow. I'm quite excited. Whoo! :-)
