so i haven't posted since march...

Yeah. And now it's May.

So what should I write about?

Well, for one thing, I'm very excited about the Bulls making it through Round 1 of the playoffs, (a sweep, no less!) and am looking forward to Round 2. I remember the old "dynasty" days when they won six championships and it would be very cool to do that again.

Warmer weather has me enjoying spring breezes through my windows...and falling asleep to a thunderstorm the other night was quite nice. I love it.

I may have figured out my goal for my education. The E.d.S. degree. Inbetween a Masters and a doctorate, it stands for Education Specialist. It seems like a good fit. Therefore, I beleive I shall be applying for that within the next year.

"Light Rain" last Saturday night was awesome. I am very excited for the next Joffrey season. I have a recording of "Giselle" on hold at Borders, so that I can know something about that ballet before I go see it. Anyway. "Light Rain" consisted of six shorter dances, each performed wonderfully. The piece that was actually called "Light Rain" was probably my favorite, though "Dance for Yal" (which used a trapeze) and "White Widow" (which used a rope) were very awesome as well, and the whole time I kept imagining myself trying to perform a ballet with a trapeze or other such apparatus and ending up falling flat on my face. It amused me.

I am almost done with "Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell", which I had probaby started reading when I wrote my last post, or very shortly thereafter. Though quite long, it's pretty interesting, and the last section seems to be becoming my favorite. I have maybe around 200 pages left and am eager to finish.

My second semester at Loyola ended last week, and I have a final due on Monday. Whoo.

Birthday was fun. That week my aunt and uncle from California were in town and left the day after my birthday, so we had dinner for them (and the rest of the family) that Friday, so it kind of turned into a party for me as well. hehe The next night Annie, Kristen, David, Aaron and I had dinner at La Pinta, which was quite yummy, and then we hit up the Salt Creek Winebar in Brookfield. Also yummy. They have a wonderful prosecco.

Anyway. I think that's about it for now. Hopefully I can start posting more often again. ;-)
