And...that's no yolk...

At the request of a friend to use the above phrase in this post, I think I'll begin giving my posts titles more regularly. So considering what I've titled this post, what better way to begin than with the following picture:










Yes, that's an egg, on the very vibrant blue wall at the back of Yolk, in Chicago. I have only been to the location on Wells, but there is also one on Michigan in the South Loop. Not only do I love the whimsical decor (most of which is actually blue and yellow, which happen to be my high school colors), they have a very extensive menu, are reasonably priced, and delicious. Yesterday I tried their huevos rancheros:

Yum. The best part? The chorizo that's hidden in there, though a tiny bit had made its way onto the plate, as you can see. Definitely a yummy, fun place for brunch with friends. I will be going back soon. : )
