NOLA!!

This past weekend I had the opportunity to take a short road trip to New Orleans to help a friend of mine move. While I really only had a couple days in the city (the other half of the trip consisted of moving his things and driving) I LOVED it and cannot wait to go back, though perhaps not in the middle of summer. : ) (Oh my God, was it HOT. We get some pretty hot days here in the Windy City but nothing like this. It was ridiculous.) Anyway, I intend to have at least a few posts dedicated to some of the places we visited while we were there, but I haven't loaded any of my pictures yet, so it will have to wait. I just wanted to say that New Orleans is fabulous, gorgeous (the old mansions blew my mind!), and fun. We had a blast. : )
