Dinner last night was at Ben Pao, in River North. I've been there a few times, and it's really good. The food is always delicious, and it's really pretty inside, too. It's not too expensive, either, which is always nice. Last night's meal consisted of the crab rangoon chopsticks (see photo below...next to the crab rangoon is my pomegranate-lemon-lime squeeze, yum!) and Thai basil chicken, which had just enough spice to it. They serve everything family-style, so it's easy to share. We didn't get dessert last night, but one other time I was there we ordered the brownie sticks, which are just what they sound like...brownies in the form of sticks. Yum. (I'll get them next time I go so I can get a picture.) I've also had the tangerine chicken (and the sesame chicken too, I think) and both were really good too. It also fills up pretty quickly on a Saturday night, so reservations are a good idea. It's a fun place! Crab rangoon below:
