Things Always Happen at Midnight...

...especially in Paris. Last night I caught a showing of Woody Allen's new movie, Midnight in Paris. I've taken a recent liking to his films after seeing both Match Point and Vicky Christina Barcelona. I was therefore really excited to see Midnight in Paris and it did not disappoint. It was very clever and I really liked Owen Wilson's character. What I thought was done exceptionally well was the incorporation of all the writers and artists from the 20s into the plot without it seeming cheesy or forced. Plus Owen Wilson as the dramatic and somewhat romantic writer just made me smile. Who wouldn't love Paris in the rain? ;-) Check out the trailer...it's creative and artsy and funny. And as corny as it sounds to say, it will probably make you want to go to Paris. I do. : )
