bring me the bisque!

Totally random post here, before I continue my history studying.

I love the Soupbox. I get soup from there a lot inbetween classes, usually bringing it to a class. Today, however, I ate there. Due to a cello/bass sectional in orchestra, the rest of us got the day off. I therefore was able to take a later train, which gave me some extra time to eat before class started.

Their soup is amazing. Every kind that I've tried there has been soooooo good. And the guys working there are much nicer than the "Soup Nazi" from "Seinfeld". haha

They play the best music, too. A nice combination of old and new rock, 80s stuff (the good stuff...yes, there are a select few awesome songs that came out of the 80s...), jazz, and swing. The jazz seems to fit especially nice. Don't know why. I don't usually associate jazz with soup. But anyway.

And today was a good day for soup, too. Cold, wet, and quite blustery. I must say I quite enjoyed my tomato basil bisque, good music, and a National Geographic. I was feeling quite content. :-)

And that's my spiel on the Soupbox. Try the bisque!!
