I'm a sucker for a good bakery. Yesterday I was able to try out Austrian Bakery over on Clark St., in Lincoln Park. Lunch, dessert, and coffee...yum. While my turkey panino was delicious, I will focus on my dessert. (It is a bakery, after all...) I had a slice of their opera cake, just one of many delicious looking selections (which also included WHOLE cakes, as well as struedels and cookies and other wonderful things!). It was very good, and sitting at the counter by the window people-watching made it even better. The layers of chocolate were the best part. (Anyone who knows me will not be surprised...) So of course, I had to take a picture:
They even wrote "opera" on the top...aww...
