dance at Harris Theater

Friday night also included a dance performance. I love watching dance, and hadn't been to a show in a really long time. This time it was Hubbard Street at the Harris Theater. They performed three pieces, and they were gorgeous. Each one was very different, and all were beautiful and captivating. They used a good variety of music, too. Some was classical (Mendolsohn and Monteverdi), and some sounded flamenco-inspired, and some Asian-inspired. The sets and lighting were very cool too. I had never seen Hubbard Street perform before and I will definitely see them again. They are amazing. Go check them out. I wish I knew more about dance so I could write better about it, but trust me, this was an awesome show.
