Latino fare in Oak Park

Last week some co-workers and I had dinner at Maya del Sol in Oak Park. Delicious! I'm glad I finally made it over there, as I've driven and walked past it a number of times, glanced into the windows, and had heard about how good it is. We started with yummy sangria and nachos, covered with cheese, veggies, and delicious Cuban beef. (You also get two kinds of salsa with your chips, and they have some of the best tomatillo salsa ever!) For dinner I had Cuban beef with red and green peppers on top of a yummy little corn cake, and topped with yucca frites. Whoo-hoo! It gets more crowded later on and has outdoor seating in the back. Defintiely a fun time!!
